Mom is a seamstress and she did fix the bags, but it should never have been necessary.Coupla things:The bags only have the handles on the bottom and no lengthwise carry strap. However, if there's any weight to the contents, the cord closures at the top of the bag won't hold closed when carrying it upside-down by the handle. So, I took a carabiner and connected the cord to the handle to act as a carry strap.It worked well on the large one twice before giving out (it was full but the contents were not particularly weighty, under 10 lbs.).It worked well on the small one half a dozen times before giving out (the contents being a 3.5 lbs. ultralight collapsible chair).Simply put - the seams of the bag are rubbish.I absolutely do not recommend them.

I needed a bag to stuff a coat into for travel to fit in my suitcase. Since I didn't know what size to get, I got this variety. One of them worked very well for the task.

Well all looked good until I actually used them. Two have torn at the lower seam both in the same spot.

I would give these 5 stars except that one of the drawstrings broke in one of the bags. I tied it together and threaded it back through the sleeve and it works fine now. I’ve taken them on three camping trips now and so far, so good.
