I was looking to buy one before vacation. I couldn't wait to get back so I could get a cleaner that steam cleans and kills germs. I thought the steam would help loosen and lift the deep dirt out and the spinning pads picking up the dirt. The steam doesn't do anything. Run the machine across a small section of floor and immediately bend to touch the floor. You'd think you'd have to be careful you don't burn yourself because of the 'steam' heat. I had the machine on the hottest setting and the floor was cool to the touch.After 'cleaning' the floor with this shark I went over it with the wet swiffer mop and picked up about as much dirt as I would if I had not 'steam cleaned' first.I've had Shark products in the past. They were very good that is why I chose their steam cleaner. Imagine how bad the lower line product are.

This little gem works perfectly at scrubbing and steam cleaning floors. Very light and easy to use. I bought extra pads because I didn’t want to run out of clean ones. I toss the dirty ones in the laundry and they come out perfectly clean. I use this on my whole-house ceramic tile floors and they look great!
