It was ok but need some improvements.Pros:Small, comes with case (case should have been lots smaller, it's way too bulky that I probably not going to use)Wireless (nice idea)Cons:Nothing holding it in place, just a magnet and the walls is kind of pressure fitted, so with a small bump on it it'll drop, I almost drop it when I was using it. Should have some kind of mechanical lock when docked.Power is ok but kinda weak, nothing more than my onboard flash.LED fill light is literally useless, it's so weak that even in a dark room it barely lit, my cellphone LED is brighter than this. The fitting is too tight, no mechanical lock, it fits in one of my camera ok and the other is super tight, so it's hit or miss.Kind of cons but personal, it blocks my own board flash so I can fire both to make use of the function.Cons but it was never advertised to have but would be nice to have, no slave, so if I want to fire both my on board and this, it's not possible.Literally always had to be full power for the flash to be usable. No diffuser so the light will be harsh, I'm planning to design a diffuser for it.$50ish is not much, but would be nicer to be cheaper.

This is such a neat little flash. It's similar in size to the flash that came with my Olympus OM-1mkii. No TTL with this, but being able to turn it an off camera flash has great potential. I could even see handholding this little unit for some flattering off access pops. It's incredibly light weight and easy to use. My one complaint with the unit is that, while it does come with a really handy carrying case, there is no space in said case for all of the pieces, just the main flash unit. Seems like a pretty sad oversight. In my testing, indoors, I got about 35 between trigger and flash before it stopped responding.

I love this flash unit. It is surprisingly powerful for its size. It is packed with features despite the small size. The carrying case is sturdy and small enough to stow away in any camera bag or even your pocket. The feature that I most like about this unit is the remote trigger. If you need just a pop of flash for a background or to light a small dark area this flash is perfect. It is easy to conceal behind a subject to add light to a background. Additionally, since this does have a remote trigger it is a nice backup in case my remote triggers malfunction. Most of my strobes have a slave feature so They will fire using this flash unit/transmitter. I always like to have a backup for everything.Another feature that I absolutely loved, when being used off camera, the included adapter to mount on a stand is magnetic. I tested the magnet and it holds the flash very well. The only reason I am rating 4 stars is because it does not include the PC sync cable, that would make this flash much more versatile. The cable is shown on the listing and it is shown in the included manual as part of the package.Pros:sturdy carrying casecompactpowerful for sizeremote triggermagnetic basecons:no pc sync cable
