With things that have seals like this, I only poke a tiny hole for liquids and cut the smallest the smallest slit needed to get the product out through it. Generally, the thicker the product, the bigger the cut.I just shook the bottle quite a bit more and it got thicker and more opaque. Doing it again.. It keeps getting thicker. I have to make the cut larger. ... Apparently, since it was full to the top, it wouldn't shake until I made some room for it to move.I put some on black landscape fabric a folded it over and smooshed it. I think it looks like an owl, unless under analysis that means I'm nuts, in which case it looks like a blob of white fabric paint on landscape fabric. Keep in mind this fabric is very porous and I smooshed it in so almost the same image is on the back of the swatch. It looks like the 1mm limit mentioned in the instructions should be enough to achieve the opacity I want. I might also thin and tint it and try it reddish under oils. I assume it would work great for underpainting with acrylics, but I have to try everything and give it time to be sure, so I really should just stick with the labeled uses of things. But, I'm a pretty curious individual, so...maybe I'll just do a small test canvas.

I compared this white paint to liquid acrylic craft paint. This is more diluted so readily embeds into the fibers and dries softer. When I painted it onto wool jersey, which is porous and absorbent, the first coat gave me a lighter shade of the blue fabric. 2nd coat- lighter; still not white. It also seeped all the way through to the other side and pooled there where I painted larger areas. Be sure to put plastic between layers of an item! 3rd coat- finally white. The acrylic was almost full white on the first coat, but it is stiffer. This dried fairly soft, even after 3 coats. On less porous materials, 2 coats might do the trick, so results will vary.I don’t think it is good for painting lettering or fine outlines because of the multiple coats required, which would be tedious.I do like that I can create various lighter shades of the fabric’s color with different layers of this paint in white. I bet the black in this paint could create shades of gray on white fabric…and it can be diluted more with water as needed.Easy soap and water cleanup and it cures in regular old air. No heat required. Best for artsy painting rather than hard-edge.Because it embeds into the fabric and stays soft, it has staying power through laundering.

I have found when painting fabrics you really need a white or light undercoat to make the paint pop and keep you from needing a thousand coats, so this is a great deal on white fabric paint. Holds up well and is a good consistency.

This white fabric paint is great for mixing with other acrylic-based fabric paints and great for painting on dark surfaces. Each bottle is 250 mL which is sufficient for painting a larger surface area. The paint goes on and dries evenly. Two or more coats are required to create a more opaque layer. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with the quality of this paint. It’s good quality that will easily stay on fabric and doesn’t wash away easily.

This fabric paint does its job well. I used it not only for crafts but also to cover stains on white fabric, and it blended in nicely. Just be aware that it takes a while to dry, and once dry, the fabric becomes a bit stiff where the paint was applied. Still, it's a useful and effective solution for both creative projects and fabric touch-ups.

My partner and I have a lot of Tshirts and after time passes and many washings, a lot of times the writing fades on some favorites and you can't even read them anymore.I decided to use this, an embroidery hoop, and some assorted sized paint brushes to carefully go over the writing on some of them and voilà, just like that, looks like a brand new shirt.I learned not to stretch the material too tightly in the hoop, not to double the material (only use the front of my shirt and not to put the whole shirt in the hoop), and that the smallest brushes were better as they allowed me to paint toward the edges of the writing or design and so to better stay in the lines.

I have not used very much of this yet. I did try it on a test item and it tested well. The color is very opaque and can be layered. I am hoping to use this to make a hand-painted denim jacket for the summer.

It was a pretty decent consistency. I’m sure, depending on the surface you’re painting, you may need another coat or two. But I didn’t. A bit of an odor that was tolerable for me. I haven’t noticed chipping or cracking yet.

This seems to be good quality fabric paint. It's a thin paint which gives you the opportunity for different shades of white. For a deeper, more solid shade, you need to apply a few coats. This absorbs well into the fabric; it doesn't just sitting on the top. I've only washed one project so far and it was not affected by hand washing. Cleaning brushes is easy with just water.

I was a little hesitant to use this … but I was wrong. I have an upholstery covered window shade that had become dingy and worn looking. So I thought what do I have to lose? The fabric paint works! I simply followed the directions, placed some in a disposable cup and began painting the old material covered cornice. It worked beautifully and this will extend the life of the cornice. It worked well! Keep in mind that it takes 24hours to cure/dry. Use caution when washing anything painted in high temperature water and watch the thickness as you apply the product.

I'm gonna make me some custom t-shirts, and this is going to be fun!!This white will be great for legible lettering on any colored t-shirts and then washable for the next gathering. Or I can create new messages as they become relevant. Change your text like you change your mind! Speak out without speaking a word! If there are any leftovers, I have canvas shoes that have seen whiter, brighter days. This will change them too!
