Sure, the bracket that attached to the ceiling is about 3/16" shorter than the light fixture base. So I cut the bracket right in the middle and attached the two pieces to the ceiling with three screws pwe side and it was snug enough to hold the fixture up even before screwing it to the bracket. With a decent magnetized Phillips screwdriver I had it wired and up in 10 minutes

Product came as described but the shades were dented and slightly misshapen. We were selling our trailer so it didn’t bother us but had we been keeping it, we would have returned them because they would have driven me crazy.

Updated our RV fixtures with these, 2 lt and the sconces. Metal is a light brown, so I sprayed them flat black. Love them! Bright too!

Nice and bright, and dimmable is good. The mounting bracket does not span the entire length of the base and is very difficult to mount to. Do not get this if you don't want to fabricate a bracket to correct the poor quality bracket. had to put a screw in backwards and slide one end onto it then barely be able to get the second screw in the other end. To say the least, it's a pretty shoddy setup. If the bracket was the correct length and one was able to put the screws in the correct way it would be a very good fixture. Another problem I experienced immediately was the cheap plastic rings holding the shades up are pretty fragile, one of mine cracked down the side when gently tightening it and I had to glue and clamp it to repair. With the poorly designed bracket and busted plastic retainers, I would definitely not buy it again, but take your own chances.

Nice looking lamps, LED lights, and metal frame. The one drawback is the mounting screws are difficult to reach, plus the steel internal mounting bracket was shorter than the decorative cover. But it does go together, though an extra pair of hands is helpful just because of those mounting screws. A magnetic, long screwdriver or tape the screw to the screwdriver blade when mounting. Also, be sure to measure mounting location in your RV travel configuration. My side-out required me to mount the lamp further in to avoid the lamp interfering with the sideout retraction.

Installed fairly easily in my 06 class A, Screws for the base could be in better locations other than the ends of the fixture. I like the replaceable lamp. rather than throwing the entire fixture out when an LED fails.Otherwise well constructed and adds a nice look to the RV. I wish more companies made some nicer fixtures for RV's rather than the dome fixtures most of them come with.
