I had been told that this is a great little item for artists to have. I do graphite, charcoal and pastel. This works especially good with charcoal. I am glad I got it. I have tried similar products but this one works best.

Purchased upon suggestion for erasing white pencil from black paper projects. It removes the marks adequately, but dulled the paper that littlest bit. My years-old Pentel Hi-Polymer works flawlessly for me...

I used the eraser to gently clean some old collectible cards. Nice and soft, it takes a layer of dirt off while giving the white border a nice sheen.

I used this eraser for removing chalk guidelines for calligraphy from dark envelopes. It left no shininess.

Best colored pencil I have found so far. It does leave a ghost of the error but it is enough to cover up the error.

I'm a professional artist, so tools of the trade are important to me. I have one of these, but ordered a new one because I use it so often. I love it because it doesn't take a lot of effort to erase and my ink lines remain black. My one complaint that takes it down a star is that these erasers shed everywhere with big gobs of black eraser. They aren't the kind of eraser that you can use in public without looking like you are contributing to littering. I frequently have to vacuum the mess in my studio afterward. Other than that though, a great product and does what it's meant to do.
