I like the idea of not having a hook tied around bumper, etc. Good clean look.

Overall a great option to replace a hook on the winch line. My only complaint is the snapping that holds the pin in. They need to include a plastic or rubber filler cap to close off the opening. As it fills with snow and debris in the winter.

This isn't the first Factor 55 product I've bought and certainly won't be the last! The only issue I've ever had with a Factor 55 product was with a poor quality cir-clip. I bought replacement/spares and have never had an issue with their products since.I have three Master-Pull lines, two with the big yellow 'hook' and one with the orange tow hook. The big yellow hook rusts shut unless you WD-40 it religiously. The orange one is just cheap. The Master-Pull lines, on the other hand, are top notch! All the hooks get replaced with something from Factor 55 and I'm happy! These things are HUGE and built HEAVY so I have no worry about a failure. I HIGHLY recommend these! I'll definitely be buying another one if I need it!

It looks great, the finish is awesome. I wish this didn't cost as much as it does, but it looks better than having the ginormous hook on the front of my Jeep. I've been around these things for quite awhile and they work extremely well as long as the rigger is competent and safe.

I got this product on the date is was supposed to arrive. It took me literally 2-3 minutes to install and was on and working perfect. No complaints about the product, would order again if I ever had a need and would recommend this to anyone operating a winch. I have a 9,500lb winch, this is rated for 16,000 which will come in handy when using a snatch block!!!

I asked all the same questions. Why are these Factor 55 products so expensive etc? I watched videos of the president of Factor 55 describing the history of their products. I was impressed by all the reviews but still didn't understand why this product is so expensive. So when I broke down and ordered the Flatlink, I couldn't wait for it to be delivered. Let me be completely honest, when I unboxed this thing I was shocked at the quality. It looked like a big freaking piece of jewlery. I seriously don't even want this thing hanging off the front of my Rubicon! If you are on the fence about buying a Factor 55 product, don't hesitate. Buy it when you can. I installed it on my synthetic rope for my Smittybilt winch. Had to cut the ugly hook off but so be it. The Flatlink looks unreal and I know it will hold up to anything I throw at it.

Really, really nice addition for your winch. Put this on because I don't like the hook locked on to the side or the synthetic line hanging out. seems like minor fender bender could damage your rope or some d bag backing into it when parallel parking. This took all of 2 minutes to install. So easy I did it twice just to make sure it was correct. The rubber bumpers are perfect up against the hawse fairlead. Was thinking of the thimble, but wanted it to fit behind the front plate. With the ARB bumper there is probably plenty of room to go with the thimble. However, this flat link is really nice. Pricey and worth it if you have the extra money laying around.
