Easy, quick install. Two clips allow glove box to drop out of the way. Remove Two bolts and one electrical plug and you can remove the old unit in less than 10 minutes. Install new one even quicker.

It's only been a few days since I installed this Resistor but so far so good. It installed into the harness and connector like an OEM part, so no issues with installation. I thought the price was fair and the shipping was very quick. So, no complaints at this time. I will repost if it blows out quickly.

My AC in my 2006 Ford explorer would only blow cold air on the highest setting (4). It turns out it was slowly getting worse, until I realized it was not the AC it was the resistor. Now all 4 levels of blower work correctly.

Cant find an email or phone to call or get customer service. It worked great up until a week ago. I see it has a one year warranty. With all of the reviews not very happy. We were happy to get it up and running with all speeds. How is it the original parts last for 20 years and the new ones only last 4 months?

Fit correctly. It took well under an hour to remove the old part and install the new part. Has restored the lower fan speeds. Access to the part under the dash is not terrific, but not as bad as I was anticipating. Repair was well worth the time, effort, and $ (I should have done it years ago).UPDATE: Just lost 3 lower speeds yesterday I assume that the blower resistor has gone bad. The “service life” of the unit was just under 2 MONTHS. Part is advertised to have a 1 year warranty…. Their Amazon ad states that I contact the company directly — but where and how???? Based on this current state of affairs, I must revise my rating to 1 star.*********** UpdateThe seller sent me a replacement under warranty within a few days of my review. I forgot to update my review based on their actions. My apologies for not updating my review sooner….. It was easier to replace the second time (thanks to “the ol’ learning curve”). This unit has operated satisfactorily since I replaced it.

Install took about an hour, works perfectly after 4 months in the harsh Minnesota winter temps. Only problem with it is that the foam gasket that goes against the firewall didn’t have the proper hole punched out for a pin used to line up the resistor. Besides that, I heavily recommend this.Edit: Stopped working after 5 months, expected due to the cheap price.
