I like having a wider wheelbase on my cars and even the largest 1/10th wheels don't give me enough of a footprint so I often look for the larger tires made for 1/8th cars. These extensions are perfect for not only adapting to the larger hex size but also provide a little bit of an offset to account for the wider footprint.Build quality is good, the hexes hold well and the offset is just perfect as too short and it will rub the tires against your body and too long and you will snap your axle due to the extra stresses (I learned that the hard way).

The 12mm to 17mm Wheel Hex Hub Adapters are a great upgrade for anyone looking to add stability and a wider stance to their 1/10 scale RC vehicle. These adapters were easy to install and fit perfectly on my car’s 4mm axle, giving it a 15mm extension per side.
