I have not yet installed this in my VW Golf TDI mk4, but comparing it to the OEM original that I recently took out, it looks nearly identical and feels just as well made. The plastic feels strong and it seems like it will hold up to a good amount of normal wear. I will feel confident in this when I install it, I am sure.
