I’ll start me review with a positive: The sensor was well packaged and installed in my car very easily. Everything fit properly, no leaks, and the electrical connector and vacuum hose installed properly and were well secured. However, the sensor was dead on arrival. My fuel rail pressure is supposed to read around 40 psi and this sensor read well over 70 psi and never fluctuated. I unplugged the electrical connector and no change, so there is an open circuit in the sensor somewhere. I would have expected some level of quality control to assure that a product being shipped was at least a rudimentary check for basic function before being sold but apparently not in this case. I installed my original sensor and it is at least reading the correct fuel pressure so I am certain the problem lies with the new sensor. Caveat emptor.

I installed this on my mustang in attempts to eliminate P0193 check engine light. Installed switch and received P0193 and P0182 codes shortly thereafter. Further internet research indicated that the problem was most likely the switch I had just replaced. Replaced switch with another new one I purchased at a local auto parts store and have had no problems since. Bright side was the return was relatively easy…..
