Absolutely stellar gloves. I've owned a few sizes of the BGV1, and the BGV19 has what I've been looking for all along from Fairtex - compact form with a snug fit. Using these primary on heavy bags and they are excellent and super protective. 5 stars for that alone. My hand circumference is 9 inches and the 12 oz. fits perfect - not too tight and zero air pocket. I will note this is without hand wraps - if I were to use wraps I would definitely size up. The fit and finish is impeccable - every stitch is where it should be and you can tell they were crafted with pride. Finally, they POP, on the heavy bag - I repeat, they POP!Highly recommended. Thanks Fairtex, you have a real winner with this model.

Very tight at first. I got very large hands. But once broken in, these are great gloves! Real leather and great padding. This model has a grip bar as well. These have become my favorite Muay Thai gloves. My other gloves are more for boxing.

I returned those. I wore them for 2mins and my fingers started to get numb because of the lack of blood circulation. Wayy too tight i have a small hand and it barely fit in there even without hand wraps

I've used these during muay thai sparring for past 8 months. These gloves have a tighter hand compartment than my 14oz Fairtex BGV1. Comparable in construction to Twins gloves. Really good padding on backs of hands...good for blocking. Wrist strap is very rigid but short...so good protection and still good for clinching. Actual weight is shown in photos...close enough for me.The only negatives are gold/yellow color wears out pretty quickly in high touch/clinch areas. And lining in right hand index finger area is a little loose...only a slight distraction when not sparring...but not perfect.Would happily purchase again.

Guanti Fairtex BGV19 12oz provati subito in allenamento, premetto che uso assolutamente il bendaggio, tanto per farvi un idea sono alto 180cm e ho mani di grandezza media, questi guanti a differenza di altri li definirei "avvolgenti", internamente morbidi e molto comodi insomma davvero una bella sensazione che non mi aspettavo, poi come succede sempre, nel giro di qualche allenamento tenderanno a lasciarsi andare, materiale cuciture rifiniture impeccabili, insomma mi hanno stupito in positivo.

I have average sized hands, and these gloves fit very well with a hand wrap. Even better once they're broken in. My favorite pair of gloves so far!

The first thing I noticed was the good quality. These gloves are well made. Secondly the comfort is spot on for me. Happy I purchased these to replace my gloves that were falling apart.

This is probably my 5th pair of Fairtex and the fact that I have had 5 pairs would explain why I typically get this brand. The Fairtex brand (up until now) has been top notch quality, good leather, good materials, great fit. I was very happy with the look and fit of these Deluxe BV19 (tighter fit) and the weight. When I put these on they just felt great and I immediately went to work on the bags.However, before the *3 minute* round was even up I noticed the leather was separating from the padding and starting to bunch up/wrinkle!!! In the pictures you can clearly see the leather separating and it is *very* thin leather. I suspect that these gloves are using BONDED leather and not the much thicker leather (not bonded to the padding) of the past gloves. Look at the picture! That is NOT even a full round! Imagine 10 rounds of this 5 or 6 times a week - these gloves would be completely destroyed after 10 rounds!This is a shame that Fairtex is cutting corners on their gloves while at the SAME time increasing the prices. I do not know what wacky business model this company is using but lowering the quality and increasing the price is not a great way to retain customers or create repeat customers. If the quality is CRAP (like these gloves were) why on Earth would I want to return to Fairtex for more crappy quality gloves?Also, I forgot to mention, this is my second pair of new gloves from Fairtex that turned out to be low quality junk. I had also purchased a pair of special edition Glory gloves last year which had similar junk build. It's a damned shame because Fairtex *was* one of the best quality gloves out there.I have 3 previous pairs that are still going after 6 or more years of beatings. No cracking, no separation, no wrinkles, nothing! At some point Fairtex lowered their QA standards and started using lower quality material and craftsmenship and this is the result - pure garbage.
