A lot of these ball valves are so tight that it takes a significant amount of force to open or close them. These are very nice ball valves that open and close with some amount of pressure but not an extreme amount.

I needed to replace the freshwater tank drain valve on our RV. It is located behind a storage compartment, so I am sort of laying in the compartment to reach and operate the valve. As the ball valve becomes difficult to open the traditional thin double blade handle breaks as I have to use every increasing force to close it. It has happened 3 times over the 20+ years we have been RVing, once with original valve and twice with replacements. So, for my third replacement valve, I was drawn to the heavy-duty handle. The construction of the entire vale also seems heavy-duty.The big handle does provide lots of gripping power to open and close the valve. Only time will tell if this is a solution, not a band aid, but given the robust construction I am confident this valve will be the final one I have to install.

The large handles and excellent price made for a good purchase. Much less expensive than the local big box hardware store and better quality.

These valves are now controlling the input and output of water from our pool heater and functioning just as well as those from the big box stores but at half the cost.

Always a bit hesitant with ball valves because most are impossible to operate. But these seem to be good quality, shutoff completely on my 70 PSI irrigation system and are easy to open. Also handle is so much better than what you see on all the other ones. Will stick with these for the rest of my project.

Bought these to source replacement handles for older valves. These have an all plastic latching handle without a screw. Forgot to take a picture but here is a similar valve from google search. Wrong type for our house, but I hope this can help others.
