This is a great kit for a kid to get introduced to magic. There's a special link for videos to teach you how to do the tricks as well as a basic instruction book. I'm not going to show any of them because that would be against the magicians code! The tricks aren't pro level, but even made of plastic in a kid friendly setup it's enough for a kid to see how they work and try the tricks out. Good to see if they really like it before you start buying the real expensive tricks.

I recently purchased the "Fantastic Magic Set - Easy 50 Tricks for Kids with Video Instructions," and even though it's designed for kids ages 6-12, I couldn't resist getting it for myself due to my love for magic props. I must say, it's been a delightful experience!The set promises over 50 fun and easy tricks that are perfect for beginners, and it truly delivers. Each trick comes with step-by-step video instructions, which are incredibly helpful, making it easy to follow along and master each performance. I loved how the tricks incorporate both special props and everyday objects—this adds variety and keeps the experience fresh and exciting.Beyond just the fun of performing, I've found that the set helps build confidence and essential skills, such as fine motor skills and problem-solving abilities. Even though I'm not a child, I appreciate how the set encourages creativity and offers a chance to bond with friends and family through shared performances.The quality of the props is impressive, considering the set is targeted at kids. Everything feels durable and designed to withstand the enthusiasm of young magicians. It's easy to see how this would make a fantastic gift for any occasion.One delightful touch is the inclusion of a magician’s certificate, intended to celebrate the mastery of the tricks. However, there's a small caveat I'd like to mention: the certificate wasn't inside the box but rather packaged outside in the wrapping. Be sure to carefully check the wrapping while opening your package to avoid accidentally discarding it or damaging it. Despite this minor surprise, it's a wonderful addition that adds a sense of accomplishment to the learning process.This magic set has provided hours of fun and learning. Whether you're a child or simply young at heart, I highly recommend it for anyone interested in delving into the magical world of illusion and performance!

Almost everything about this kit was a disappointment, starting with the very flimsy box it comes in (and mine came crushed). The items included are also poorly made, but the biggest strike against this is the claim that you can do 50 magic tricks. NO, you need things that are not in the box (and it doesn't matter if they are common household items...), so I consider that blatant misrepresentation. There are much better magic kits out there, probably for a few more dollars, but if you really want to introduce kids to magic, get them something better made.

My grandaughter has been wanting to learn magic tricks for a while, and when I saw this it seemed like the perfect starter set. It had some of the classic magic tricks I remember doing as a kid that were easy to learn and fun. It also has a lot of other tricks that are easy to learn and includes the items you need. The kit has 50 magic tricks, which is a great deal for the price! My grandaughter has been learning a handful of them at a time, and putting on little shows for us! She's been having so much fun doing this, and we've been having fun watching her shows. Definitely worth the money.

For $23(at the time of this review), this is a solid set. I have purchased several of these types of beginner magic sets. While others have more pieces in them, this one has fewer pieces, but each piece is larger and just a little better made. For each trick, the pieces fit well together and the colors match what is in the Amazon page. All tricks can be easily performed. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. While I do have other kits, I prefer using the pieces from this one for the larger size and ease of use.

This is a really nice little set. My daughter loves magic and so was really excited to get playing with this. It says 50 tricks but keep in mind many of the tricks use the same parts, so you're not getting 50 "pieces" just 50 different things to do. Some of the tricks are a bit underwhelming (like the rabbit in a hat trick is a card that you flip over and either shows the rabbit in or out of the hat). She liked it anyway but I was hoping for a little more substance to some of these. She also had a hard time doing a few of them. Overall not bad, just know what you're getting.

Some of the tricks cannot be done by small hands because of how you need to hold and hide things. Which is a real bummer that they made the props so big because this kit seems to be more so for ten year olds and younger. Their tiny hands won't be able to hide things properly. Others are hard to pull off depending on what eye level the audience is sitting at. For example, trying to hide a bright red half-ball inside of a really dark small bowl will not work unless the performance table is taller than the audiences' heads. Otherwise, these are the average tricks that come in these magic box kits.The booklet is written better than other kits, and it does come with instruction videos unlike other kits. However, there is not a video for all fifty tricks. In fact, they did videos on some of the incredibly easy to understand tricks instead of the ones that make you say "huh?" when reading the directions.My thirteen year old likes it okay, but it looks like one of those toys that gets used once, and sits in the corner of the room gathering dust for years before messed with again. But he did have fun with a few of the tricks.
