I decided to splurge & spend more on what I was hoping would be a quality tea kettle. I've owned this kettle for approx. 6 1/2 months. Unfortunately, though, the screws on the handle have repeatedly come loose over the last couple of months, and the bottom screw has fallen out several times. We can't get it to stay tighten up. This is definitely a safety hazard when trying to pour boiling water. Very disappointed !!!

Works as advertised. Color is very close to what is online. Whistle is loud which I appreciate. Handle is very sturdy. Only downside is it cannot be filled by my pot filler because of the handle.

Hard to close kid and whistle is very low. I don't recommend for seniors or hard of hearing. That being said, it's a nice little kettle .

Nice high capacity kettle. A bit on the quiet side with the whistle but that may change over time. Apple Green color blends in perfectly with my kitchen! Smooth finish, good weight.

The taller shape and higher spout allow you to boil more water at once without worrying about overflowing. This teapot boils water quickly, whistles when ready, and pours comfortably. The handle feels sturdy/well attached. Bought this to replace a different brand that broke after only 8 months of daily use.Update: After only 4 months of daily use (and regular hand washing) the spout no longer closes properly. There's a significant gap, which prevents the water from heating quickly. Very disappointed.
