This spatula broke at the neck after about 3 uses. I was trying to scrape the bowl in my stand mixer when it broke. The “Sur la Table spatula bought at the same time & received at the same time via Amazon is still kicking! Another Sur la Table spatula I got as a gift 5 years ago is also still in one piece with no sign of wear.(which is why I bought it) Farberware spatula is flimsy & not a good value for the money

I give it 4 stars. Because onky the front part of the handle is stainless steel. The back of the handle is plastic.....they really work hard on save budget. Which i have to remember not put the back part on ethepan whike cooking.... Beside that i like it.

I love this item because it is safe for all cookware yet is strong because of the metal under the coating. I was so sick of the cheaper plastic or vinyl flexible spoons and spatulas that food cakes on, melt if rested on the edge of the cookware and are useless to lift heavier items like a roast. Looking for matching items to complete my tools.

How do you break up an air sealed package or ground beef after thawing to be able to cook it without large chunks, or a can of chicken breast, etc.? This tool works great. Easy to use, dishwasher safe. Glad I have it. Recommend it highly.

Ya know it's a big spoon what can you say? I do think it looks good it seems like it will last a long time Farberware is a good name brand. A little deeper than the one it is replacing yea it's pretty nice if I need another for some reason I'd get this one again.

This is a large (over 13" long) stainless steel zester grater made by Farberware. This is my first zester grater and after using it several times on cheese, fruit, garlic, and almonds, I can say that I prefer it to my regular food grater. It's very sharp and grates food items much more finely than my regular grater. I like that it has a removable protective cover that fits over the grating surface, as that surface is very sharp. The grater has a comfortable, non-slip handle which makes using the tool easy, but cleaning it is not. The first time I used it, I put it in the dishwasher since it's "dishwasher safe." Alas, it came out of the dishwasher with bits of food still stuck in the grating surface. So, using the advice of another reviewer, I started rinsing it off immediately after using it to prevent food from drying on the grating surface. I put it under the kitchen faucet while using a soft brush with a little dishwashing soap to remove all the food particles before they have a chance to dry. That technique works well. For less than ten dollars, this zester grater a good buy.

Review of Farberware Professional Stainless Steel Soft Whisk, 12.2-Inch, GrayReviews for several different products are mixed together and this review is for the whisk.Seems and feels to be well made with a thick handle for those that prefer a stronger and tighter grip. The tines are rounded at the business end which I mention simply because some may prefer a flat bottom style of whisk. Tines also seem to be well secured within the enclosed base so there should not be a problem with tines sliding out.The handle is a soft grip and comfortable although for whisks my preference is for handles that are not as large in diameter but, again, that is only what I prefer.Worked decently with some packaged pancake batter that I had received although for that I preferred to hold the whisk slightly below the handle. Worked great on an omelet yesterday but that would be expected. The bulb at the bottom is fairly large so after washing one is likely to dry this with the handle down. The problem is that there may be some water trapped inside the enclosed base to drip out when the whisk is turned over to normal orientation with the tines down.

I recently obtained some additional non-stick cookware, and I need to get some decent utensils to go with. Most of the modern non-stick cookware claims that you can use steel utensils, but I'm old-school enough that I don't want to take a chance of scratching the finish in an expensive piece of cookware. When I saw this item come up for review, I knew I had to give it a try. Here's what I like:+ The spoon is nice and long, great for use in wider or deeper pots.+ The spoon is made of a hard nylon and is strong... it doesn't bend.+ The spoon itself is larger and deeper than most I've found.+ The stainless steel you see on the handle is decorative and is on the top of the spoon. The underside is a softer silicone that conforms to your grip.+ The handle is larger in diameter and feels better in your hand... I have carpal tunnel issues, and tiny round utensil handles are a supreme "no-go" for me.+ The spoon washes well; so far it has not changed color nor has it "melted" on the edges, as some I've used have done.In other words, I can find nothing wrong with this utensil... I would gladly buy it and would recommend it without question based upon my experiences so far. My only complaint is that this is a pre-release review of an item that's not yet readily available... I want to buy the whole set, but they're not available yet! When they are, I'll buy the other pieces.UPDATE: A couple of weeks after I wrote this review, these products became available for purchase. They're reasonably priced, and I've purchased and now use all of the different products in this product line. This is definitely my favor set of utensils for use with non-stick cookware.
