it shrinks a lot! be sure to leave yourself some extra around the edges.We used this to cover a piece of equipment for shipping. the first part ended up a little exposed at the bottom because in the 6 feet of height, it shortened about 10 inches at the bottom. The second part we left a lot of extra and stapled it to the pallet before shrinking.The description says for use with a heat gun. Unless you are using this on a small package, a heat gun is not enough. It will shrink with a good heat gun but you really need a propane heat source like the ones designed for boat wrapping.No tape needed, heat and press corners and it will stick to itself very well. Also can patch holes by heating and pressing a piece over the hole.Held up on a 1200 mile trip on a flatbed with no tarp.
