Reviewing: “FASHEWELRY 87.4 Yards/Roll Black Double Fold Bias Tape 5/8 Inch Wide Polyester Satin Ribbon for Sewing Seaming Hemming Piping Craft”This is very poor quality and I cannot recommend it.PROS:None.CONS:* It is not what it says it is. It is NOT “Double Fold”. It is single fold.* It is possibly a 4-harness satin weave, my eyes are not what they used to be.* It is thin but stiff, quite transparent and more like cheap lining* The join seams are glued, not sewn* Cheap fabric overallI’ve been a designer and pattern drafter in the high end of the fashion industry for over 30 years and this is not what we would ever order. It looks cheap and more like a shiny lining fabric.Satin is a weave with long floats, that is what give it its gloss and shine. Satin can be made from different fibres such as silk, polyester, and rayon. Even cotton can be used to make a sateen, giving it a somewhat shiny look. There can be nice polyester satins, but this is not one.I absolutely cannot recommend this product.

Bias tape is supposed to cover fraying edges on fabric, however by the time i was done sewing this onto my garment, the whole bottom edge of the actual bias tape frayed so badly that i had to remove it and start all over with a different brand.

I don't usually leave reviews but I want to save someone time and money this is not what it looks like. I bought it to use instead of bias tape from Walmart thought it should be softer and overall nicer boy was I wrong. I bought 3 - returned one, used part of one but ended up removing it from garment, and the last one I will donate to a kids craft class hoping they will have use of it. It just defiantly not garment quality Satin bias tape.

La calidad es horrible y en donde debería haber sido unida con costura esta ligeramente adherida así que cuando estas cosiendola y de repente te encuentras con la unión de seguimiento pues el bies se rompe. Tiene una textura como de papel realmente no la recomiendo si quieres hacer acabados de calidad.

This is NOT satin, and it definitely is NOT soft as the description states. This stuff is thin, stiff, and all-around USELESS! Do not waste your money on this stuff.
