If you're used to the raffia paper material, this string will probably be just as expected for you, but some of the downsides that come with this material are that it unravels easily. Each string is three thinner strands weaved together, and it;s just a papery material so they kind of come undone, especially when tying a knot. Overall these strings are just fine and can work great for crafts, but untie them carefully because they get knotted so easily.

This beautiful colored paper string feels a lot like raffia. It’s lightweight. If you pull hard enough with your hands, you can rip it so it’s not strong. It is made of paper but it’ll definitely work for simple things like tying around gifts or flower bouquets. Can also be used like a yarn for decorative pieces with crochet.
