It works more like a normal charger. It's not as fast as the Ego fast charger. At least it works with any type of battery (aftermarket or factory).

The unit works with both EGO and aftermarket batteries. It looks and operates exactly like the name brand one. I have not conducted any detailed one-to-one comparison tests between the different models to see which is actually better, and although they seem to work and output just about exactly the same, this one costs considerably less, so I guess you can say it is a better value. The unit is durable and I would say that it's the perfect addition to my workbench.

I like that it works as ordered. The charger works just like the one we got with the blower.
