Well, the pump DOES work but you must pump about 3 times to get good flow. The instructions don't mention that.The bottom part of the siphon fits tight on mine but I add a couple of dabs of pure silicone caulk to ensure it stays in place while it's in use. Remove them and pull the end piece off for cleaning.I haven't used the bottle filler so have no opinion but did note the comments that it dribbles.The tubing is pure junk. It's too rigid and arrives folded with 3 permanent kinks. Very poor quality.. bought 2, one to have on hand incase. Sooooo 2 showed up and one was broke right in the package in a undamaged box. Started a return. (No problem) So I ordered another before trying it. (Number ³) Yeah..... The Little stopper at the bottom was already out. Frig sakes.. so opened the third one just now and the place the syphon in the tube and the whole end fell out... So good luck. I don't normally leave bad reviews but this product sucks a**

Hose came folded and kinked in an unusable way. No matter what I tried to unkink the hose, no fluid was being transferred. Waste of money.

Went to use this this weekend only to find the bottle filler was missing. The hose was kinked in two spots but it is also extra long. But I can't complete my wine bottling without the bottle filler.

This kit was cheaper than buying the siphon outright. The siphon is really great and is worth the money. The tubing that I received was permanently crimped, which made the process very difficult since I needed two people to hold it straight enough to flow liquid through. The "siphon clamp" can't be used with glass carboys with normal neck sizes: the siphon would need to clamp into the inside of the neck and the angle does not work. You can use the clamp for buckets and jars with wider openings. The "gravity filler" has no retaining tension other than liquid pressure, so it will drip if you have low pressure- and you will have low pressure if you are using the included tubing.

The FastRack Auto Siphon is a lifesaver for my homebrewing adventures. The 1/2" diameter siphon and 6.5' Hose make the transfer process a breeze, and the clear design allows me to monitor every drop to ensure I'm not pulling any trub. After watching some videos on your tube about home fermentation I realized pretty quickly I’d need one of these. I thought the price was good and went ahead and got it. The material is good quality and everything works like it should but I will say the clip that holds the siphon in place could be a little more sturdy but this thing still gets the job done just fine! The 6 foot hose is nice too I can put my jug on a table and siphon into an empty jug on the floor. I love having this and it makes everything so much easier and cleaner and I don’t have to spend as much time filtering the finished product.

I've bought fastrack stuff before, I thought the quality would be similar. I can't fathom how some companies sell things...don't they TRY their product before selling them? The bottle filling tip does not have a spring holding the ball valve in place. This means the siphon is relying on the weight of the liquid in the tube to hold the hard plastic ball valve against the hard plastic seat to make a seal. This is of course silliness and impossible and means the siphon dribbles constantly. So EVERY SINGLE TIME it's pulled out of a bottle there is a mess.Plus, you can't leave the bottle end in a bottle and go prep the next bottle because the weight of the hose is more than the weight of the liquid inside the hose...so if it's sitting in a bottle, the ball valve is up and it's siphoning. Don't turn around, your bottle will overflow.Also, the one-way valve at the carboy end of the siphon is not glued or otherwise secured in place. It's a very light pressure fit. So, one day it just fell off inside my brew, leaving me without a functional siphon.This product is a joke, it's worse than the no-brand China junk one I had before. I hope Fastrack will test products before they slap their brand on them because this completely eliminated my trust in the name.

The siphon seems to work fine for me and arrived in one piece. The only problem I had with it is the long 1/2 tubbing is kind of stiff and will kink if you are not careful.
