This dose not sound like a woodie at all no where near the sound of it on top of that it’s is really small for a duck call any way and the pressure you have to put behind this thing to do a squeal is terrible sorry to the seller y’all need to not sell these woodie calls any more

This call was the farthest thing from the sound of a wood duck call! But, scraping out another piece of junk from the same maker, I put in a second reed and gave them both a trim, and trimmed the flute, I honestly have the best sounding close up mallard call I have ever had in 30+ years of duck hunting.As for wood duck? Will keep using my cracked and busted Duck Commander.

Was scared by the time I ordered it that it wouldn't get here in time before the season ended but it did with one more week to go ! Love it.....perfect !!!!

Call was a lot “raspier” than other wood duck calls I’ve heard in the past. Had to choke it off a lot to get a clean squeal to the point the call was extremely quiet. I’m a beginner caller but this call is not very user friendly. I noticed a piece of excess plastic on the tip of the reed that must’ve been hung on after cutting. I went to remove the insert to try to carefully remove it but the insert was seized in the barrel. I pulled as hard as I could and then researched to make sure the insert is supposed to separate. After fighting it for a considerable amount of time I ended up jamming the reed. Now I have a $15 decoration because the call is ruined. I take blame for jamming the reed but the insert should NOT have been seized in the barrel. It’s a shame because I was excited to test out this call and it seemed to be a nice call initially. After the awful experience I had with this I will not be buying another. Save some money and buy the flexible flextone wooduck call.

Love all the calls in the Faulks line! Still have the faulks wood duck call my dad gave me over 20 years ago! Sounds and is built the same as his! Great call, highly recommended.

Our son bought this because he watches Duck Dynasty but he couldn't afford an expensive duck call. He says that it doesn't sound exactly like a duck but it's close enough - and he's having fun. Could be a matter of mastering his technique! Seems to be well made.
