The place I am renovating used to have an evaporative cooler but it had been removed and central air and heat installed with floor vents. The ceiling vents were left. The vents were old and ugly and drafty. I sealed them all with insulation foam and used these tiles to cover. They look like a decoarativeelement and are perfectly lovely when they are painted and installed. I mustadmit, I had my doubts. Right out of the box, they look cheap and flimsy, but once painted and glued in place I was quite pleased.

I was a little bit took back by the thinness of the item it would have to have a filler in it to be put on the ceiling. I was looking for one to go behind my stove I like the design but not the material. I would love to look at more choices they have. All and all it would be nice to put on the ceiling.

My daughter and I installed 104 of these beautiful ceiling tiles in the master bedroom to cover the "popcorn" ceiling. We used Acrylic Pro adhesive in many spots since more is needed on acoustic type ceilings. They adhered wonderfully, I applied the adhesive and my daughter pressed them to the ceiling. We had snapped chalk lines and started from the center of the room. We did have to trim all tiles along the walls which turned out to be simple. I have learned caulking at the seams is only required in damp areas like bathrooms and kitchens, so we are not going to do that, but will paint them with water based paint. They butt up so nicely to each other, but should there be any minor gaps, the paint will fill those in. The tiles have transformed the room and added such a feeling of ambience. I JUST LOVE THEM!
