Simply put - it's not for me. I'm very slight in my shoulders and chest and the straps aren't short enough for me to use as a backpack for "Cooper," my 10.5 lbs cat. In my attached pictures you can see that it doesn't rest against my back, causing it to lean downwards and making Cooper uneven inside. The backpack itself is nice looking and very well ventilated for critter(s).

I got this backpack for my sister's cats as they are generally very stressed when they have to travel outside the home. She sent pictures and a GLOWING recommendation for it!Pros:- easy to wear - great size for transporting, and surprisingly roomy inside- the cats get into it on their own if left sitting open- excellent ventilation- excellent base support- at $50 original price, it is a great value for the cost- transporting cats to vet is so much better / less stressful- can have the flap down for added support and it still has great ventilation- velcro to keep the flap up if/when desired - they thought of EVERYTHING- makes outdoor trips and adventures enjoyable by all!!Cons:- Zero - love this thing.

This pet carrier has a cool retro suitcase look that upgrades it from the usual. It comes flattened and you need to expand it. The most difficult part was getting the zipper zipped, make sure to push the frame in under the seam to position the zipper right. There's a bit of smell but not overpowering.Once put together I think it's good for small to medium cats. There are mesh openings for them to look out and zippered openings to get them in and out.You could carry this in the front or back or by the carry handle at the top. There's a firm base for your pet to rest on.

No assembly! Just zip the sides up. Appreciate all the screens for ventilation and view. I do with the middle section had some structure to it - you need to have the sides closed for it to stand by itself.Excellent quality and is true to description / photos - very impressed.

The stitching and manufacturing are fine. It fits our 17 lb boy well, and he has enough room to roll around a little and switch positions. It's got plenty of airflow and is a good design. The shoulder straps, while not as thickly padded as a multi-day backpack, are of the right width to me. I have slightly wider than average adult male shoulders and it's even a little small on me.Great selection for vet travels (shhh don't tell our furry kids!) or excursions outside.

It's a little cramped for an adult cat--mine is on the larger end of average healthy sizes (11.5 lb) and while she DOES fit, she has to curl up pretty tightly to lay down and cannot lay flat inside--she can really only sit or curl into a ball. It does look nice! The zippers work well and feel sturdy, and the bag holds its shape well when lifted. I would not consider this a good choice for any longer trips or for cats that really want to hide during vet visits, but if you're only going a short distance, it's fine. It's a nice product, just a bit too small to be a good choice for an adult cat if it's the only carrier you're buying.
