This was a replacement for a Neewer monitor, and overall I am quite pleased with it. It does use more battery power and I need to calibrate to color settings as its not a true refection of what is being captured. The touch screen is nice to enlarge the image, but I could do that before with camera controls. I also bought this as it had HDMI in and through which work as advertised.

Awesome Monitor works perfect, bright enough, excellent color.I thought seeing the unique encoder mount on the monitor I could attach my encoder to the monitor. You can I did as shown in the pic. But adding the NP battery of any size the weight was to heavy and only gives half the powered time that if both devices had each a battery.I tried to solve this with a NP dummy battery connected to 2 NP batteries shown in the pic. But the current draw through the dummy battery at 8.6v caused the cable monitor and encoder to get hot trying to draw the current from the batteries.I have solved the power issues by not using the 8.6v dummy battery and powering the monitor using lower current 12v output of my NP batteries. This works fine powering both devices through 1 , 12v cable from my daisy chained 2 np batteries through the monitor into the encoder. No heat works without interruption as ling as I have batteries to rotate.The mount on the monitor is awesome I am using it but had to use the 12v power or 1 np batterie mounted on the monitor, but its too heavy that way and life is to short powering both the encoder and the monitor.Awesome Monitor and cool mount, just know your power requirements.

It's not bright (not enough for outdoor shoots), but it does the job. Perfect for cameras without a decent viewing screen or for use on a gimbal.The wireless transmitter attachment is cool to have - especially if you're a director and you want to see what the gimbal operator sees in real time.

Hace un año Estaba interesado en comprar un monitor para mi cámara y compré uno que no llenó mis expectativas, era un poco incómodo de manejar, desde que vi este monitor, que además tiene pantalla touch y es fácil de manejar, creo que no tendré otra opción por el momento.

This monitor is great for the price and the size. I have looked around for camera monitors for a while. But what sold me to purchase this monitor is the ability to add an external battery with a Type-C cable. I picked up a pair of F970 batteries.It is light weight monitor which balances great on top of my camera. The touch screen is quick and responsive. The menu setup is easy to follow and change settings. The screen is sharp so setting focus for a shoot is quick.The mounting place for the bracket has a positive and a negative. Positive they have added a mount screw for different angles. The negative is the bracket does rotate once mounted to the bracket because the bracket has holes where the bracket locks into place. If you use the monitor as a field monitor then I don’t see it as a problem. I don’t see it as a big negative for me right now.

This is an excellent monitor that rivals the more expensive brands at a fraction of the cost. The colors are accurate, the size is just right for checking focus, the multiple power options and the touch screen at this price point is really a bonus. You can't go wrong I just both a second monitor because I was impressed by the first.
