I am using this monitor with an older DSLR camera that does not have a flip screen. I use it for videos when I’m solo filming. I place the camera on a tripod and then attach the monitor to the camera using a mini HDMI to HDMI cord. The monitor is mounted to the tripod by using a clamp with a mounting plate. It works out perfectly and I’ve been able to make sure I stay in frame as I talk. I am often standing for my videos and I move around, so having the monitor is a big help. The monitor is well made and the 7 inch size makes it easy to see myself without having a huge monitor. I have another monitor that is smaller, but I find this size is better especially if you have the tripod at a distance from you (in my last video, the tripod was about 10 feet from me and I could still easily see the monitor). The monitor has a good screen brightness. I was able to also use it outside for reviewing action camera footage and it was easy to see in the shade. The image quality is good and buttons and screen are responsive. The menus are easy to understand and intuitive. I like that it uses NP-F batteries as I have several and they are somewhat universal. I didn’t notice any issues with overheating or response time. I like that the monitor comes with a hard shell carrying case for protection. I would definitely recommend this monitor.

This is a great budget monitor. It is very bright which is great if you are shooting outside in a bright situation. It comes with all the standard features, at this point they all do. One thing that stands out is the extra NPF mount that allows you to add and power something like a HDMI transmitter.

After using the FEELWORLD F7 Plus+ monitor for about a week, I wanted to share my impressions. The build quality of this monitor is excellent. Although constructed from plastic, it feels very sturdy. Navigating the control settings is straightforward thanks to the intuitive button layout, customizable shortcut buttons, and responsive touchscreen.I tested the monitor during a conference, and it performed exceptionally well. This monitor boasts a comprehensive feature set that rivals much more expensive models, including professional monitoring tools such as waveform, vectorscope, luminance histogram, focus assist, audio meters, image flip, and false color. I also appreciate the inclusion of HDMI cables, battery, and a mini hot shoe mount adapter. The monitor itself offers a generous selection of ports, including HDMI input and output, a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, DC in and out, and a USB-C connection.I also appreciate that the company consistently includes a high-quality carrying case, which is excellent for keeping everything organized and travel-ready. However, I noticed that my previous 5" monitor came with a larger capacity battery (NP-F750), while this one included the smaller NP-F550 battery. I wish it had included the larger capacity battery, especially since this display is larger and therefore uses more energy.Furthermore, I appreciate the inclusion of an F970 external power supply kit, which allows for the attachment of other external devices such as a wireless video transmission adapter. This is my third monitor from FEELWORLD, and I'm happy to report that as of now, it has been a reliable and high-quality option, especially given its competitive price.

This monitor is a beast! But in a good way. Its large but extremely thin and lightweight.

The 7' size is great as director can see the image without getting too much in your space...

I love the monitor! I used it on set on an exterior bright sunny day, and I put it to test the 1200 nits. The touchscreen is very responsive, and the false color options came in very handy on the shoot.
