As other reviewers have noted, these run small. We bought my son a big kid 5 size which is what he wears in other brands and what the measurements on here indicate he should fit in. However, they are much too small/tight. The shoes look to be a decent quality but the sizing is way off. We will save for a younger brother to wear in the future but now we have to re-shop for my older son and find something with a better fit.

We got this for my daughter to use as an all-around outdoor shoe. We have a fairly active, outdoorsy lifestyle and she needed something in addition to her normal tennis shoes. My daughter says they're very comfortable, and I appreciate the width of the toes. The grip is great. They are true to size.

True to size, he loves them and I think his balance is better in them. Walked 6 miles without complaining about his legs or feet!

Good looking shoes for my 5-year-old. They fit well and he finds them easy to get on and off. He says he doesn't really notice a difference in how his toes fit, but he doesn't usually have issues with that anyway.

Alright, so I picked up these FEETCITY barefoot shoes for my 10-year-old daughter. She's always running around, and her old sneakers were looking pretty beat up.First thing I noticed is how light these things are. She says they're super comfortable, like she's not even wearing shoes, which I guess is the whole "barefoot" idea. They seem to give her good grip when she's climbing trees in the yard or just tearing around the park. The colors are bright, which she likes, and they don't look cheaply made.What I appreciate is that they seem pretty sturdy so far. Kids are tough on shoes, and these have held up to her adventures without any rips or seams coming apart. They're also easy for her to get on and off herself, which is a small thing, but it makes mornings a little smoother. I haven't really found anything to complain about with these.So, why five stars? Well, the kid loves them, says they're the best shoes she's had. They're holding up well to her constant motion, they didn't cost a fortune, and she actually wants to wear them. For me, that's a win all around. Happy kid, shoes that last – can't ask for much more than that.

My son is the most picky shoe shopper I've ever dealt with. He has very wide feet. We got a similar shoe from this company last fall and since then, no shoe has measured up for him. I've been checking and hoping for them to put out a new shoe, and these didn't disappoint. I got 2 in his current size (black and white) and 2 in the next size up in the same colors. We are going to try to dye the white shoes his favorite color. Now, if they become unavailable while they are out of season, my son will still have shoes! I ordered so many different shoes labeled barefoot or wide toe boxes and he told me all were too tight or too restricting. I'm relieved to have shoes that my son will wear real shoes for running around instead of Crocs.
