These pants offer an elastic waist as well as a drawstring for a comfortable fit. The medium weight fabric stays cool, even in hot weather. The color is listed as army green but I think it is more of a dark olive color for a more refined look. The length is perfect for a tall woman, and comfy for a curvy woman although the design seems to emphasize tummy bulge more than I like, so I wear a longer shirt to cover that region. These are my go-to shopping and errands slacks and might be okay for work; not sure why they are listed as "beach" slacks because design and weight of fabric not appropriate for that.

I regret ordering these in a size large. I would have easily fit into a size medium. My hips are a little over 40 inches, it was the waist I was initially worried about. I shouldn’t have. The pants still look nice on me just a little too much material around the hips. The fabric is nice and comfortable. I machined washed them with like fabrics on delicate and threw caution to the wind and put them in the dryer, hoping they would shrink a little. They didn’t really shrink any as I used low heat. I understand why the manufacturer says to not put it in the dryer as the vibrancy of the color will last longer and you eliminate the potential for little pills in the fabric. I will probably do a combination of air and machine drying. The are very nice, comfortable pants at a good price but measure and consider the elastic waist.

Recommend sizing down. Other than that they’re great pants. Don’t shrink in the wash. Look great.
