Defective product that blew out when I turned it on. The glass was angled and it was obviously lacking anything like a vacuum inside because of the way it blew out as soon as power was applied to the bulb. I wonder if anyone else had this problem?

The pool guys wanted a lot of money to diagnose and replace the light, if necessary. Replacing it directly was the solution.

I was thrilled to find these bulbs available on Amazon as they are a much better price than the pool store. My only beef is that they don't seem to last long but this may be due to something with our pool lights. I also wish they came in a higher wattage as the 100 watt is not quite bright enough for our deep end. Regardless I am happy with this purchase as these are good value for the price.

Needed a replacement for in-ground pool light. The deep end of the pool uses a 300w large bulb. This is the smaller shorter bulb and uses 100w. It is suitable for the under water housing that is typically installed in the jacuzzi/spa. You will need a new gasket if you remove the housing so be prepared for additional effort and expense.
