Adjust Thread Tension
The thread tension dial can be easily turned to adjust the tension of the line, depending on the choice of fabric.
4-Step Buttonhole
Replace the buttonhole foot, and select the button stitch. As shown by the button stitches 1,2,3,4, you can easily sew the buttonhole.

So far it jams, most of the time I spend trying to clear it i have done everything, tension. I don't like the twisty controls for the tension . It may well be going back.

I loved this machine at first, great deal, worked great and I made a ton of small projects… fast forward 2 months and I’m working on bigger projects for Christmas and it’s jammed… I have checked everything I can, but no luck so, do I go with the warranty? Well, I have to pay to ship it both ways and for parts and labor… not worth it… I can also take locally to a repair shop where the prices for repairs tend to run $50 and up depending on the issue… also not worth it… so, I’m ordering a new Brother. Oh… it jammed the night before our Christmas get together so nobody but my grandbabies got their entire gift… it was a nightmare! Thank God I had finished the grandbabies gifts a couple weeks ago!

This machine is useless. I bought it because it said heavy duty. You can Not sew anything thick with it at all. The stupid thing keeps talking, sounds like a different language, you can't understand it at all. I would never buy one of these again! Customer service is no halp.

Excellent machine, took about 10min to get it up and running. Hemmed 3 pairs of pants super quick and easy at $20 a pair it already paid back half of what it cost me. No problems with it, it worked as it logically should. I did get a soft carrying case for it but no reason it can't go back into its box. Consider getting a sewing accessory kit, well worth the money. If you are not a "read the manual" person. The manufacturer has a whole series of videos about it on youtube.

It didnt come with the book, and the instruction manual was a little confusing. Its very light and easy to handle. The settings are a total plus, with a lot of options for your sowing pattern. although its quite light, its very strong and when i sowed tight and heavy material such as jeans it glided through. its quick and easy to wind up the bobbin, and it always works very easily, the tension is perfect so the stread isnt too lose or too tight to remove it.
