Actually, this is a metal head gasket. Specifically, it is a steel gasket with a composite face to seal a worn engine. It is much stronger than stock which is only composite material. It is not a multi-layer steel headgasket (MLS) sold by Fel-Pro and others.

Great quality compared to the cheap head gasket that came in my gasket kit for my 7mgte. I dont see how you can get better without going metal head gasket.
