The box that it came out of had no damage at all, when I opened it the gasket had a crease. Most likely from the original seller. Ussually I don’t have trouble with this brand.

Used on my 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 4.0 engine (straight 6 cylinder). Fel-pro is the best in the aftermarket world for gaskets and would never use anything other.

FelPro has been around for years and their products just don’t seem to fail or cause failures. Had to replace my 94 YJ 4.0 exhaust manifold and went with this gasket rather than the one that came with the new exhaust manifold. Fit perfect without any problems mating up to the exhaust and intake manifolds.

Exhaust ports were undersized. Installed on 99 cherokee 4.0. Holes for exhaust were substantially smaller than the ports in the head, and smaller than the holes on the old gasket. Had to grind about 1/2 of material to line them up. Gasket had also been folded and creased a bit during shipment.

A cheap part for a not-so-fun repair job. As you can see in the photos, this is the correct gasket for the Jeep 4.0L V6 in my 2000 Grand Cherokee which had been whistling for the past year. Not a bad repair job other than the very difficult-to-reach nuts on the manifolds. There are a few good YouTube videos out there.Just a note to be extra careful with the intake manifold, mine broke somewhere in the process even though I was being careful. Makes me wonder if that was the source of the leak, not the gasket.All that to say, the whistle is gone now, and if I hadn't had to replace the intake manifold as well, this would have been a very cheap repair.

The gasket solved my intake leak and whistling sound went away. The unique Jeep design of sharing hardware between the intake and exhaust manifold made this project a pain though.

Installed onto a 2002 jeep tj with the 4.0No issues. No leaks. Good quality. Thicker than the stock metal one. perfect fit. Not much else to say. Glad it works because getting the manifolds on and off is a real pain.
