Better than the oem gasket. My engine has very high mileage so the flange on my exhaust manifold was not quite flat anymore. The thicker gasket made up for the warping and no more exhaust leak compared to when I replaced it with the OEM thinner tin gasket. No more fumes in car, much safer. 2007 VW Golf City 2.0L (Gas)
