I never understood why the 3.1 a simple low hp economy engine has gasket designs that would be better suited on higher HP engines but GM did the opposite and used low hp gasket designs on higher HP engines from these years? If my Z28 came with gaskets like this from the factory I would not have had to change them out.

I use Fel-Pro anytime I can. Was replacing my head gaskets and forgot to order for the exhaust manifold when placing my bulk order. These did the trick on my 3.1L V6 in my 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix.
