Two nozzles direct the eye flush upward at both eyes simultaneously, maintaining a constant flow rate and stream height. The saline eye wash is superior to tap water, which may contain harmful bacteria or contaminants. Since no plumbing is required, this small, lightweight, portable eye wash station can be located in almost any challenging workspace that is unsuitable for a primary station. This allows your workplace to meet ANSI regulations which require an emergency eye wash station to be accessible within a 10-second walk of any hazard. Placement is easy as the unit can be mounted to a wall with a single bracket, hung from the unit's molded handle, or made fully mobile when paired with a universal cart or stand. The Fendall Porta Stream I is also ideal for confined work areas that are exempt from ANSI requirements. Usage is easy, with highly visible instructions on how to use an eye wash station present on the front of the unit. This avoids having to search for a manual when eye irrigation time is crucial. The nozzle strap is easily removed for hands-free eye flushing, leaving hands available to hold eyelids open. Maintenance is also easy via the large top hole for refilling and cleaning. Filled with solution once. Drained and filled again after using one time. Second refill will not stay in container. Pressure from solution in tank pushes the soloution out of the covers and covers are installed correctly. So it sits empty because it will not hold the solution.
