Your cart is empty. Crafted at our Ensenada, Mexico, manufacturing facility, this genuine Fender Stratocaster guitar maple neck features a comfortable "C" profile and 7.25"-radius pau Ferro fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets and vintage-style heel-adjust truss rod.
The nut is pre-slotted with "pilot" string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing, and a gloss urethane finish offers smooth playability. For true Fender authenticity, it's also serialized and stamped, with genuine "Original Contour Body" headstock decal.

While it does play fine, frets are perfect, the profile is very flat and thin. The Pau Ferro fingerboard is just awful. It feels terrible, almost synthetic. It was bright "clown nose" red. I wound up getting alcohol based black dye from StewMac and five minutes later it was looking like nice dark rosewood. Still feels like plastic though ...

The back of the neck has a Mexican "M" number. You can't use this on a US Standard! Drops the value a good $300.

Silky smooth frets, comfortable radius, plays like a dream... Even though it's made in Mexico, it's a Fender - so it's the best! Do not hesitate if you need a replacement neck, pair it with some Fender locking tuners and you're good to go!
