easier for a Lefty to obtain the tone as just turn around a standard Strat then just restring with voodoo child set in reverse, whereas others would need to buy the standard Hendrix guitar version, and yes as most should know the restring method actually does make the difference in obtaining the Hendrix tone, better than any other method have tried out. The ball end version will give you better handling during bends and whammy dives without them going out of tune faster like other strings do, along with of course these different gauges that he used. The great brightness, tuning stability, sound quality, durability and string quality, all helps this to be the greatest string set have ever tried out, completely satisfied with this purchase

Diese Fender Saiten sind das Beste was ich bis jetzt an Saiten auf meiner Strat aufgezogen und gespielt habe. Ein toller Sound und eine gute Haptik. Hätte nicht gedacht, dass das so ein großer Unterschied sein kann. Also, klare Kaufempfehlung.

Compré 3 juegos de cuerdas y en uno se rompió la 1ra cuerda y en otro la 3ra, no sé si culpar a Fender o al vendedor. Estoy dudando de la autenticidad del producto. Tengo 20 anios tocando y nunca se me rompio una cuerda afinando en Standard Mi "E". Por otro lado me gusta como se sienten las cuerdas y el sonido, asi que tengo sentimientos encontrados con el producto. (No se, podría ser que las cuerdas no vengan en una bolsa que proteja al producto como en otras marcas que la bolsa promete protejer las cuerdas contra la corrosión)

First time buyer of these. Strings come two in one paper sleeve. Ie, 1&4th, 2nd & 5th and so on. Which is fine. Other brands do this.However, whoever or what ever packed this put the wrong gauge in the wrong order. Been stringing guitars for 20+ years and this is the most disastrous mess I’ve ever come across. I’m going back band to the brands I trust.

I have reverend charger with P90's. The guitar is a little bottom heavy in tone with a normal set of 10's, but these brighten the tone of the lower strings. The guitar now has a sustaining chimey tone, notes are a little more defined (less muddy) in the lower register.NOTE: A setup was performed after adding the strings to get them to sound their best.

I have been playing guitar for about 40 years, and have been FASCINATED by Hendrix since the first time I heard Purple Haze when I was 9. Yep, I'm 49 years old and that first exposure to Hendrix is what made me decide to start playing guitar. I have studied his technique for years and years, have used much of the same equipment, I have even lost sleep over getting just the right ge transistors in my fuzz units. Did any of this gear get me any closer to sounding like Hendrix??? Of course it helped, but I think Hendrix would have sounded like Hendrix no matter what equipment he used, because the magic was in his fingers.However, and this is a BIG HOWEVER, there IS something about these strings that somehow DO get you closer to his sound. If I were to guess where the magic was I would say it is in the lighter gushes of the E, A, and D strings. I don't think I would have ever thought to lighten these strings on my own, but man it makes a difference. Think Hey Joe at Monterey and that is the vibe of these strings. Amazing!!! I got the Nickel Plated version instead of the Pure Nickel ones and they really brighten up your tone. Just what my dark sounding Strat needed.
