Fit great on my Strat and all the holes lined up with the guitar. I also purchased the pickguard screws and used those to mount the back plate. Check your screw holes before ordering to make sure that they are the same pattern.

I recently built a 50s ish Stratocaster in the Fender Mod shop; 2-color sunburst, single ply pickguard, blondish neck (actually roasted maple), vintage tuners and pickups. The one thing that I had no control over was the backplate, it came with the modern ‘slot’ instead of six string holes. Easily remedied, Fender’s been good about offering a variety of vintage parts, I have a few on my vintage ‘65 Strat too. Not much else to say, just what it should be, a vintage Stratocaster backplate, it’s really what you want!

2004 American Deluxe Strat, the screw holes align perfectly but the holes to allow the strings to feed through the bridge are not aligned. The E, A, and D strings are aligned enough to be functional, but to get the strings in or out on the G, B and E bottom strings you would have to take the backplate off. Outside of that it's a good product but evidently all strats are not cut exactly the same so that the feed-through holes align the same on every guitar. I've attached a photo.

Awesome look, Fender quality. Fit perfectly on my 1979 Custom Shop Strat. DOES NOT COME WITH SCREWS so order Fender pick guard screws with it and you'll be good to go. I wanted 3 ply to match my pick guard but it does not seem to be available in white. This back plate is solid white and looks very good. Be sure to check before purchasing as I know this will not fit on all Stratocasters.

Edit.... Was putting it on backwards.... Fits fine.. had to drill out some new satellite holes for new screws. No biggie.
