Fret 1 is dead, the intonation is off completely. All nuts and bolts were loose. Scratch on body. And the nut at the top of the headstock wasn’t even glued in place. If you’re going to slap a Fender logo on a product, I’d expect much more. The kid loves it. But I expected more.

This was a gift for my 9 year old granddaughter. I wasn't sure if she would stay with playing and learning the guitar but this was ideal. She loves to practice and use the instructional chord cards. She uses the guitar strap and it fits her great. First day and she was able to master some chords. It's a hit! Who know made a future Taylor Swift!

This is such a nice little guitar. its the perfect size. the fretboard is very narrow. this came in tune right out of the box, perfect intonation, and the action is amazing!! oh man the sound it makes when its plugged in, press the overdrive. Im blown away by the level and quality of the fit and finish. There are extras in the box, a couple of picks, flash cards, a turner lever. It's worth the price for sure. This was a gift to a six year old girl, and she just loves it. She now has her own perfectly sized guitar in sea foam blue and is tuned to open G. The neck and fretboard are perfect for her little fingers, and she is already sliding around on one finger power cords. This is like the balance bike of guitars!! I think i may need the red one for myself

The quality of the guitar itself is really good—very similar to a Fender Squier, and I like that this version, which was made in collaboration with Fender, looks like a normal electric guitar in every way, despite its small size. The size is perfect for a 6-8 year old, and the 3-string design makes playing guitar more accessable for that age group. I've had great success pairing it with the Line 6 Spider V 30 MKII amplifier which includes a bunch of guitar effects to get started.
