T-Max linear tensioners have a umhw head that is self-lubricating. The tensioner is designed with oil-impregnated, Sintered Bronze bushings for smooth, reliable movement at all wear points. Bushings are positioned by a press-fit and never need lubrication. The tensioner has Alloy steel, accurately wound compression springs which are used to provide consistent tensioning force. Grease-lubricated to ensure not only quiet operation, but also long life.
