These bags hold up well to lawn debris. However. they are susceptible o tearing rather easily to anything with a sharp edge.

...if you need a LOT of MEDIUM DUTY trash bags for a decent price, this is a pretty good deal...HOWEVER...I work construction, so I know what a heavy duty trash bag is...when we buy them from our suppliers, we pay almost a dollar a bag for the 3 mil super-thick heavy duty bags...the Fertilome lawn and leaf bags are NOT the same quality or durability.For normal family garbage, grass clippings, dry leaves...pretty goodFor heavy duty garbage, heavy yard waste (twigs, small branches, etc.), wet leaves, ...not so good
