The open "slats" on the top of our footstools are not just for aesthetic purposes. If you're using it outdoors, they can also help drain water or moisture for improved stability.
Our single footstool measures 15.75x12.6x5.31 inches, which is better than a standard footstool, so you can more easily stand on it with both feet without feeling like you're stepping out of the room.

Not much to this step - it's not the best quality and is pretty lightweight but it was easy enough to put together - although I did have trouble with a couple of the screws that didn't fit well. I'm not sure if I'd like to put 500 lbs on it (as stated in the description). It's an easy step up and I have plenty of room for both feet (although I have small feet !). I think it's a little pricy, but overall it's useful and perfect for my needs.

This stool is made of a solid but light wood on top with metal legs. It was very easy to assemble and feels very sturdy.It says it holds up to 500lb but I'm less than 300lbs and don't really trust standing in the middle. I have stood in the wood above the metal braces on each side and it's supported me but I will not stand in the middle as I don't trust that wood. My children who are both under 100lbs have stood in the middle of this with no issues.

Got this stool to help my basset hound get on the couch. Perfect. Looks nice; light and easy to move around; sturdy; doesn't slip. Actual wood. Feels a bit cheap. But for $20, I'm very happy.

I'm super happy with this stool! The quality is really impressive, and you can tell a lot of care went into the craftsmanship. It’s performed better than I expected and feels really durable. Plus, it looks great! I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a good, affordable option!

If I’m not mistaken, the legs are made of hollowed-out plastic, which I wouldn’t really trust to hold the weight of an adult-sized human being. The wooden board piece is also quite thin. I wouldn’t trust it to hold the weight of an adult-sized human being.I would not use this as a stepping stool. Instead, I think this would be more appropriately used as a sort of shelving unit. It also works as a really small and low side table on which to rest my drink and snacks while I’m lounging around on my rec room floor…Assembly is easy and pretty intuitive. Everything you need to assemble it is included. Three of the screws screwed in so that they are more flush against the top surface of the wood. For some reason, the fourth screw won’t go in that deep…So it’s kind of protruding a bit more than the others. It’s not a big deal to me, though…The stool is stable and sturdy enough to rest some snacks or drinks on…but as I said before, I wouldn’t necessarily trust it to hold the weight of a fully-grown adult using it as a stepping stool. It might hold up okay the first few times, but I have my doubts that it would hold up to heavy use. For this reason, I will be using it as a little floor side table, instead.

This is a good basic stepstool that we find handy to have around the kitchen to get to those top shelves. The dimensions in the ad's images are correct, but those in the text description are questionable. One section says "it's just 5.31"" while the image and my own measurement show 7 inches even. Assembly is easy, although my package lacked an allen wrench that was claimed to be included (deducted a rating star for this). The top is 3/8" thick bamboo which the maker claims is OK for 300 lbs, but I have not tried this and hope I never need to; however, at my 170 lbs it feels sturdy enough. One should take care not to step too close to any edge because it is capable of tipping in that event. It is nice and light at only 2.2 lbs, making it easy to hang on a hook for storage.

For my short friends, or families with kids. You need this. I was a little concerned when I first received this package because it was so light weight. Upon assembly, which was quite easy. I was even more concerned because the legs are made of plastic! However, this little guy has truly shocked me. My wife absolutely loves it. It’s the perfect height for getting things out of the cabinets and it even makes a good foot stool at the dinner table. Due to its lightweight, it’s easy to kick around, wherever it’s needed. Even though it’s held up so far. I probably wouldn’t want more than 200lbs on it. $26 seems like much for plastic legs but we’re happy with it.

This product isn't fit for use. The legs may appear metal but are plastic, despite what the instructions in the box say. To confirm this, I stabbed a box cutter through them without issue. Also, the wood is unvarnished and poorly sanded. There were already small splinters of wood sticking up from it right out of the box. I can only imagine how bad it will be in a couple of months. Frankly, none of that matters when the plastic legs start to crack after I place one foot on it (pre-box cutter stab, mind you). This is in no way recommendable and if you somehow bought it before it became unavailable, I'd request a refund.
