Your cart is empty.The new self-cleaning filter bags for the CT MINI dust extractor solves a problem that plagues other dust extractors and vacuums. During normal use, fine particles of dust cling to the inner lining of the filter bag resulting in caking. This coating of dust lowers the effective suction power dramatically resulting in poor extraction efficiency and performance. Caking can also cause additional strain on your dust extractor's motor and contribute to premature failure. Festool has addressed this issue by developing a unique pliable fleece filter bag. Because the bag is not rigid like many other types of bags, such as paper bags, it prevents caking. This means that your Festool CT 36 dust extractor continues to deliver full suction until the bag is virtually completely full. Other manufacturers feet bags do not counter this caking effect and suction is reduced dramatically throughout the use of the bag, often resulting in a situation where suction is lost before the bag is completely full. When this occurs, you're paying full price for a partially used bag. The Festool filter bag also serves as a pre-filter and is able to trap dust particles down to five millionths of a meter, or 5 microns. This is about the same size as a red blood cell. By arresting these small particles, in addition to larger chips, the bag extends the life of your main HEPA filter, reducing wear and tear as well as the expense of frequent filter replacement. Bag disposal is quick and mess-free. An integrated closure on the bag shuts the opening to prevent spilling. The material is made to be tear resistant and prevent bag blow outs which can be messy to clean up. Now, that's smart. Includes five (5) bags.

This is the 2nd time we have purchased these, and as always, my husband loves them. He is a major Felstool user, and has many of their tools and organizers. The bags are sturdy and he says he has no complaints. As a gift-buying-wife though, I wish Felstool was a bit less expensive, but their superb quality is worth it my husband says.

Work as intended--I think Festool needs to rethink it's design though, and this bag could be eliminated, I suppose this piece of the Festool puzzle helps their vacs achieve the HEPA rating. As with most Festool stuff, I'm only going 4 stars because it's seriously overpriced--functionality is excellent though.

Very high quality bags that seem to last forever. These days, I do far more ordinary household vacuuming with my CT MINI than woodworking dust collection, because it excels at both. And even though we Festoolers are used to paying through the nose, these really are a great deal because they don't need to be replaced as often as ordinary vacuums' bags.

I have a CT Mini which I won in a raffle a couple years ago, but I also have several Festool tools that take DC's. If I was running a production shop I'd probably want a Dust Deputy on top, but for me as a hobbyist I go through a couple bags a year. They never lose suction somehow and the bag holds an enormous amount of dust. So whatever they're doing is working. I wouldn't call them cheap but then how many do you really use?

I love my Festool CT Mini Vacuum. Had it for 8+ years and never an issue. I have been using the standard paper collection bags until now and they work well. My local supplier was out of replacement bags so I went looking online. I found these new? Self-clean filter bags and grabbed a box to try. They are larger than the standard paper bags (more surface area for filtration) and hence allow better air flow through the bag. The material likely clogs up fast less than the paper bags, and I find after using two of the 5 in the box, that this does appear to be the case. I get better suction, even when the bag is nearly full. There is much less noticeable loss of suction with the bags than with standard paper bags. Grab some and try yourself.

Great bags, last long. I bought these in a store for 10 dollars more plus tax. Glad to find them here at this price. The self clean feature really does work. I believe it's from the filters position which is on top of the bag. So when you turn it off the movement of the vac. releases the dust. You do have to watch for when it is filled. You do not notice a loss in speed like other vacs. although it will stop picking up dust. Saves on beating up your filter too. I would recommend these to anyone using this machine. Don't depend on the filter alone it will just cost you in the long run.

First of all, I must admit that I am smitten with the quality of Festool products. It is one of the few lines of tools that I can depend upon to maintain their quality year after year. These bags are no exception. I am surprised at how well they perform and how long they last. I connect my random orbit sander and other sawdust creating tools to my vacuum to collect as much dust as possible. It is amazing how much each bag collects and still have the vacuum maintain its suction. As an acid test, I use my vacuum to clean ashes from my wood burning fireplace. Other vacuums with their bags have spewed dust into the room and/or clogged up too quickly to be useful. No problem with these bags! I wouldn't use my vacuum without them!
