HOW TO STRING A YOYO?

I liked the fact you receive extra strings. I was disappointed it wasn’t as slim as I remember my yo yos growing up like Duncan. This was a gift to my 12 year old grandson who still hasn’t quite mastered it but continues to learn.

What's in the box:YoYo, stock with lubed C-bearing for reponsive play, bag with bearing puller and concave bearing for unresponsive play(curved not necessary for unresponsive play, just not lubed), 10 yellow strings, glove. I immediately swapped the bearings so this was now an unresponsive yoyo.Surface has a slight texture enabling grinds. Finger grind, arm grinds and even IRG thumb grind went nice. Power stayed nice through most longer grinds. I could not do DNA/Top-on finger spins because I cannot currently do those. Yoyo is st stable and would work good on horizontal tricks.The generous catch zone moves that string to the middle with no problem. Landing bangers is no problem, although as per typical, no yoyo can compensate for really bad sloppy play. The profile is nice for beginners to practice with and improve with confidence, while seasoned players will like it for high-risk trick landing. Multiple layers of string in the gap were no problem IF you take the time to try to balance them out.The yoyo apears to have a soft silicone pad, which was kind of sticky to the string and a bit more grippy that I prefer. The pad and pad recess appear to be a YYF 19mm OD slim pad type, so a common pad and easy to replace. The stock type of pad is one that needs a longer break-in time to get that first layer completely gone and then the problem is resolved. For me, I'd yank the pad and use flowable silicone because that's why I use in my yoyos because I like it. Odds are you're going to replace the pad with a pre-made one anyways when the time comes.During my play, the bearing exhibited "break-in", where it gets really loud and "zzzz" sounding. Normal, nothing to worry about. This should happen with most of your bearings. It's best to keep playing through it. It can take a few hours for that to go away.Overall, good weight and size, nice surface, good inner cup design, nice IRG feature, good balance. This yoyo did take a ding during evaluation and stayed smooth and stable. It was fault as I lowered my arm. Still, it took the ding on tile floor like a champ and kept on going as if nothing happened.Another great yoyo. Thanks to the case, EDC is simple and safe. Super affordable, good for beginners to competitors.

Prinzipiell schönes, gut funktionierendes YoYo. Unser Sohn, 14, hatte viel Spaß damit. Leider ist die Schraube, die die beiden Teile miteinander verbindet zu kurz, sodass das Gewinde nur 1 mm greift und beim ersten Zusammenschrauben kaputt war. Schade, dass solch eine unnötige Kleinigkeiten das ganze Produkt unbrauchbar macht und unnötig Müll produziert. Zurückgeschickt.

no way to affix a string to the yoyo without the yoyo spinning out of control, perhaps my knowledge if a few decades too old, but a yoyo has to be fixed to the stringg to yoyo.
