I recently installed this Whole House Surge Protector, and it's been a solid addition to my home's electrical system. The installation was straightforward, and the unit feels sturdy and well-built. It's reassuring to know that all my appliances and devices are protected from power surges, especially during the storms that happen here frequently. The surge protector has a high capacity of 108,000 Amps, which is impressive. On the downside, it is a bit pricey compared to some other options, but the peace of mind it provides is worth it. Overall, I'm happy with its performance and reliability so far. I will update immediately if there are ANY future concerns.Pros:- Straightforward installation- Sturdy and well-built- High capacity of 108,000 Amps- Protects all appliances and devices- Peace of MindCons:- A bit pricey when not on sale

This looks similar to the Eaton unit that I have. I think it is just a case stuffed with MOVs. You can't tell if or when it does anything, you just have to hope that it will when the time comes. It is like moving the MOVs from your power strip to the breaker box. It does have an indicator for each phase to show that it is active and supposedly working. Overall I have no problems with this one and would probably recommend it.

I used to think surge protectors were just for plugging in my computer, but after one bad storm took out my neighbor’s TV, I wasn’t taking any chances. This whole-house surge protector is like a security system for your electronics—it shields everything from unexpected voltage spikes, including TVs, HVAC systems, and anything else that’s plugged in.The build feels solid, not like those flimsy power strips that claim to be “surge protectors.” Installation was straightforward if you know your way around a breaker box, but if not, it’s worth having an electrician hook it up. Once it’s in, you basically forget about it. There’s a clear LED status indicator to let you know it’s working, which is a nice reassurance.I tested this out during a nasty thunderstorm, and my whole setup stayed safe. No flickering lights, no fried appliances—just smooth sailing. I also like that it’s designed for both indoor and outdoor use, so if your breaker box is outside, it can handle the elements. For anyone who doesn’t want to gamble with their expensive electronics, this is a smart investment. One big power surge can do serious damage, and this little box gives you peace of mind that your whole home is covered.

This whole house surge protector is the perfect fit for your home’s protection. It was very easy to install once you installed the required 50amp power breaker. It has four wires which go to the ground, neutral and the last two go to the breaker, and you are done. Simple as that, just make sure to completely cut off all the power if you decide to do this yourself.
