At first I worked great! The picture was brighter and it was awesome but it only lasted 2 months. I received it December 31st, 2015 and it went out the last week of February 2016. I don't think I would spend more money on your product.

because of the price being low I ordered three (3) of them. Good thing too.The plastic tabs were not as good quality as those on others I have ordered that cost more.So, when I went to install it, the tab broke off the first one in less than 4 seconds.It took me an hour of finagling the second one to get it installed.Once installed, it does work...I have to wonder how long the bulb will last however.Next time I'll pay a bit more, get a better unit that wont break so quickly.

I've spent a wide range of $ on these TV Lamps over the years, and I believe it's the luck of the draw on whether they last or they do not. My last bulb purchase was from Sears in December, I spent $70 on an Osram replacement bulb with housing. It blew out after 5 months - it came with a 6 month warranty. I contacted Sears about the replacement, and they informed me they do not have anything to do with the warranty, I have to contact the seller. Needless to say I was not happy with Sears) I emailed the seller, the next day I received an "out of office limited access to emails from April 1 until May 6" reply. I sent them a copy of my invoice, necessary info, etc. I re-sent the email on May 8, just to ensure they had my correct contact info. I have yet to hear back from them, and my warranty on that particular bulb expires on June 1. Bottom line is I will never purchase these bulbs from Sears website. At least I know Amazon stands behind their Sellers. For that I thank you Amazon!Now, back to the bulb purchased here: It has been installed and in use for one week. Picture is bright, bulb is working properly. There was a plastic burning smell for the first couple of days after installing the bulb and using the TV which concerned me, but it seems OK now. Forthe cost of this bulb, I'm very happy with it. I will see how long this one lasts and update my review periodically.Update 7/6/15: lamp replacement light came on my TV yesterday, after only 2 months in use. This bulb info states 150 day warranty through "Fl Lamps" - but I cannot find any link through my original order to contact "Fl Lamps". Disappointed to say the least. Guess I have to contact Amazon CS ? Removed one star on rating.12/7/15: I was sent a replacement lamp free of charge from Exclusive Bulbs - no questions asked - for bulb which was still working but replacement light was on my TV screen every time I turned the set on. I waited until the lamp quit working - actually worked for another couple of months before finally expiring. The newest lamp in my set (the replacement received in July but not installed until probably September) still has a strong plastic burning odor when the set is on. This set has since been moved into a bedroom and not watched on a daily basis. I can still smell the plastic odor when I walk into the bedroom if the set is on. The bulbs works fine, just wish the odor would disappear!

We purchased this Item Compatible PANASONIC TY-LA1001 TV Replacement Lamp with Housing, Amazon Order # 107-0502670-7321856 which we received on-time 12/4/14. We installed the lamp in the compartment and the picture was clear for approximately 1 week, then we started to smell burning plastic and the fumes became stronger. Immediately we turned off the TV and disconnected the power source and waited 24hrs. Turned the power back on to check that it was really the TV that was producing the burning smell; sure enough 5-10 mins, the TV shut-off and we could smell the burning plastic. We unplug the TV and tried to remove the lamp from the compartment; it was stuck in my TV and would not budge.We called Amazon 12/17/14 who agreed to return the cost of the lamp, and they suggested that we contact a repair service to see if they can remove the lamp without damaging the TV. On 1/6/15 RaidoActive Repair evaluated that the lamp is fused to the electrical connection in the housing compartment and cannot be removed without damaging the electrical board, lamp housing compartment and maybe other connectivity that he was unable to determine at this time. I have no TV at this time.

Plugged right in and works amazing. Picture bright and colours are perfect. Glad to have my tv back. This review is about a month into use of new blub.

Received this lamp package via US Mail. It installed easily. Good picture. I originally ordered this lamp as a backup. Within about 1 week of receipt, the previous lamp failed. So I have now ordered and received a second "backup" lamp.

I just got it, but so far it's AWESOME!!!!! The company I bought it from was stellar. My picture is good as new, and it saved me huge $ rather than replacing..
