Some reviews stated that the fins quality wasn't up to the expectations. However, I received a flawless set, which makes me wonder if the other reviewer was unlucky.I use these keels on my 7' SUP when surfing 3-5' waves at beach breaks. They provide great agility and allow for some good turns. However, it's important to note that these fins are quite large and may be too much for smaller fish or shortboards.

These are exactly what I hoped for. The base fits perfectly in the fin box. The fins are finished well. Plenty of drive and speed. Most keel fins are 100% fiberglass and are too stiff for small surf. With the honeycomb core, these have plenty of flex and pop to generate your own speed and perform in small, mushy surf. Just know, this is not a super-loose pivot fin for tight turns and split-second snaps. That's the trade-off with keel fins, and you probably won't be doing much of that in small, mushy waves anyway.These is my first buy from UPSURF. Nice job!

Wow. I am impressed. I’m an intermediate/advanced surfer and these fins made me feel like a pro. The flow and drive on a mid length are unparalleled. I highly recommend these to anyone looking to up their game with turning and pumping through crumbly sections.
