The mounting blocks are first screwed into the protective cap, and then any face shield or visor equipped with Quick-Lok cups can be securely mounted into the blocks.

It's what i needed. If you have ever used these parts before then you know it's quality till it breaks. They are plastic so they will only take so much abuse that's why I keep a spare set on hand. I'd say over all they work well for my applications.

got tired of taking my hardhat on and off to switch to a welding hood or grinding shield and i didn't want to purchase a new hardhat.
