Like the title states, the price is a bit steep, but man is it fun to fidget with. The build quality is incredible, and it feels great in hand. The magnets are very strong so be weary it can hurt if your skin gets stuck in between the two pieces.

This thing is awesome! Very satisfying little slider with relatively strong magnets out of the box that gives a nice assertive click within the alloted positions. It is adjustable, it comes with accessories which allows you to soften the pull of the magnets and make it "smoother?" You can also remove magnets and play with all kinds of configurations...that being said WHEN YOU GO TO TAKE IT APART AND YOU ARE MOVING THE MAGNETS AROUND (Like after you remove the screws and get access to the plate you are going to work on) REATTACH ITS COUNTETPART! KEEP THE TWO PLATES TOGETHER! That will provide magnetism to ground the loose magnets you are moving around..otherwise the magnets will jump out of their holes and be hilariously impossible to do what you want them to do! YOU'RE WELCOME

I think it is evil to give you screwdriver with it. First thing my adhd brain did was take it apart.Overall though I like it, it is fun to mess with and isn't as loud as many fidget toys

I have several similar sliders and always felt that they were too loud, not enough feedback or the magnets were too strong or weak for my liking. This slider is fully customizable to get the feel that you want. Placing the supplied washers under the magnets will reduce the amount of effort needed to move the slider. By adding them strategically the slider feel can be tuned to your preference. These washers will also silence the magnet rattle noise if you want it more quiet but maintaining the strong effort by placing it above the magnet. There is also a gold spring inside that gives a satisfying ring which can be removed if you don’t like it.I have found that it was easier to do this by first removing the two screws then carefully placing the slider on the other half. This prevents the magnets from exploding out after removing the top plate. You can then take the extra magnets they provide to pull them out one at a time. This will also prevent you from installing the magnets in the wrong orientation. After several configurations I found the perfect combination and am very pleased. As a note don’t over tighten the screws on reassembly as it only threads into the aluminum top plate.

Well I don't know. Kind of funny i took it apart to make it silent and putting it back together. I put four magnets in and they flew across the room. I only found one and that took me an hour

Waste of time and money. I bought this so I can have a silent fidget, and you have to silence it yourself. I spent four hours trying to put the rubber things in it, and the magnets kept going all over the place. And then, you cant even screw it down. This is the complete opposite of what a fidget toy is supposed to do. It's supposed to help calm you, not drive you crazy.

This is an awesome fidget; it has good weight due to the metal parts and is customizable. As someone new to fidget toys I needed something I could make quiet. Someone had gifted me an Impossible pyramid fidget toy (also awesome!) and it was driving my coworkers crazy (noisy) so I went on the search for one I could make quiet and landed on this. You can make it dead quiet by adding the silicone silencers and tape that comes with it, and it works great, it is much easier to fidget with because the silencers and tape reduces the magnetism, but the pieces also separate much easier causing more drops of half the slider. Also, anyone who likes fidget toys can also attest to how satisfying the clicking sounds are, the sounds are part of the enjoyment. I found that just removing the corner silicon silencers, that brought back some of that satisfying clicking, though not too much. It also makes the slider much more fidgetable, and flickable, which I couldn't do with all silencers and tape in place, without one of the halves flying off. Now I have a lot less drops... If you're thinking about one this is a great place to start since it's customizable to fit your needs.
