Hab die Flasche gekauft, da die alte nach Kunststoff geschmeckt hatte. Leider ist es bei diesem Produkt immer noch das gleiche! Mehrfach ausgespült mit heißem Wasser, Geschirrspüler etc. Werde wohl irgendwann wieder zum konventionellen Flaschenhalter wechseln. Im Anbetracht des Preises ist es nicht empfehlenswert, zudem ist die Flasche jetzt auch um einiges länger und es kann bei kleinen Rahmen zu Problemen mit dem handling kommen.

Honestly think that Fidlok are simply trolling us now. Bought this assuming I could use the connector on my existing bottles, but oh, no, that's not right. Now you need a strap as well. No. Not buying into this nonsense.

just noticed i needed the other one for 750ml as i already hv the magnetic receptacle -- i now need the strap for the bottle... where can i get one or will have to buy a bottle with the holder. my bad, thought they are interchangeable - fits my bottle cage so will use it as is for the time being.

This is just the bottle ($17). First, you will need a twist bottle connector ($17), then you will need a strap for this bottle, but it is not sold anywhere (not even the official website.)Then, you will need to purchase another twist bike base for another $16 per connection. All these little parts add up at a premium.Of course, there is a combo set for $50. but if you break the strap of the bottle, you'd be better off buying the whole combo kit since this "replacement" bottle doesn't have the necessary replacement. If this replacement bottle are sold with the appropriate connectors. I wouldn't give it such a low value score.since this is a 800 version, it's heavy when filled with water. It's difficult to find the magnetic mount while you are riding. I managed to drop this more often than the conventional bottle / cage combo. With the conventional bottles, I don't have to look. I could just feel it. This one on the other hand, I have to at least align the magnetic side approximately, that alone requires muscle memory training. Sometimes, only 1 connector connected. Hence i have to order this expensive replacement because it failed and crack the bottle.The dust cap is nice, but it will easily detach if dropped.Bonus: the cap assembly fits directly on camelbak podium bottles, vise versa. It was a nice surprise. Other than that, I don't have anything nice to say.
